Xr6 turbos don't have this problem there is something strange about the Mustang its like the suspension doesn't work properly.
Adam you need to add the stop the hop kit and full steeda suspension. That'll help you a lot at the drag strip! You also need to add a bmr kmember front suspension kit.

Sorry dude but your sopposed to bring it up on boost right after lighting the second light as it's going thought the tree so when it hits the bottom light you can let go of the brake and depress the gas pedal as fast as the car will let you without spinning not waiting till you get the go light to bring it up on boost

Well at first I thought this would be pretty cool. The stock GT350 should run 12 seconds or faster depending on bolt on upgrades, the Barra swap and with his issues, he ran a 10.80 or so, which is impressive, but I thought it would be more salty than this. I'm sure a turbo kit would've been easier and made more power, plus just the sound of that 5.2 and as high as it can rev.....
auto barras dont like being shifted i blew my trans doing that :D
car sounds like it needs less gear. those barras make a ton of tq and need to be kept in their power band
That double shifting sound in each gear is it first shifting, and then going into lockup, then shifting on converter, then going into lockup. I'd suggest a tighter convertor, or sparkcut on shift and bring the lockup in earlier, or have no lockup in 1st, 2nd and 3rd. All in all needs a trans tune ma dudes.

I like Adam so I'm definitely not hating. Kudos to him for doing something different. Literally no one will probably ever do this but this car is now super boring without the voodoo in it, or even a V8 in general for that matter. The sole nature of this car is the 8500 rpm flat plane crank V8.

Sounds like the converter is opening up every shift and then locking halfway through the gear. The other thing could be the crossover points are way too wide but watching other videos of it driving on the highway cruising around it doesn't seem like crossover points to me.

Trans has to be slipping. May be a shift time setting where the trans is used to slipping the clutches a little bit on lower power levels for smoother shifts, but on higher power it just slips a ton and tries to correct itself? Honestly that’s the only thing that would make sense to me 😂 idk shit about autos or dual clutches tho

Might as well do Sequential. Much stronger and more responsive transmission through and through. I wouldn’t even bother trying to use any DCT or Torque Converter auto with much you’re invested into the build.
for gods sake tune the auto to shift right in the middle of where the boost is active and not at the redline ,which is what you have done, thats why its edlining through the gears?
